Mrs. Lillian Léger, 70, of La Montagne, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, April 16, 1996 after a sudden illness.

Born on January 16, 1926, in Amesbury, Mass. USA., she was the daughter of the late Zoël and Léola (Richard) Auffrey. She was a retired Factory Worker. She attended St-Thomas Roman Catholic Church in St-Joseph. She was a member of the Club D'Age D'Or de Memramcook.

She is survived by her husband, Léandre Leger; four step-daughters, Odette LeBlanc of Dieppe, Paulette Léger of Moncton, Mrs. Henri Belliveau (Lise) of Memramcook, Mrs Donald Dupuis (Joanne) of Dieppe; one step-son, Donaldo (Carol) Làger of Little Dover Road; three brothers, Laurie (Wilma) Auffrey of Moncton, Francis (Clémence) Auffrey of Moncton, George (Anita) Auffrey of Pré-d'en-Haut; one step-brother, Alban (Yvonne) Melanson of Moncton; 12 step-grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her step-father, Edmond Melanson; her first husband, George DeYoung in 1974; one step-brother, Arsène.

Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home Ltd., Memramcook with the Funeral mass to be held at St-Thomas Roman Catholic Church in St-Joseph on Thursday, April 18, 1996 at 7 p.m. Interment in Notre-Dame-de-l'Annonciation Cemetery in Pré-d'en-Haut.
